Legal notices

What? Did you really think a lawyer would put up something like Lawyer Rant and not add all sorts of legal fine print, disclaimers, and copyright notices? We do this kind of thing for fun, the way some people tell jokes or hug their kids. Here are mine, which can be viewed by clicking above or on these links:

Copyright Notice

17 U.S.C. Section 107 Fair Use Notice

Legal Advice Disclaimer

Legal Endorsement Disclaimer

Limited Right to Use

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice

Copyright Infringement Agent Notification

Legal Advertising Disclaimer

If you have any questions or comments about these notices and disclaimers and you really need to share them with me, you can email them to me at:

That’s my real email address so please don’t sign me up for weird newsletters or junk mail. I usually respond to all my fan mail the same day I receive it so let me know you have any questions or comments.

Please do not send me solicitations or requests for legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by communications with me. Also, do not send me material or information that you believe to be confidential or privileged information. All questions, information, or concerns directed to me may or may not be made public or passed on to the relevant law enforcement authorities at my sole discretion. You should also be aware that lawyers are mandatory reporters for certain kinds of information and depending on the circumstances that may be done with the material or information you send me.
